I know most of you guys will be asleep by now, but I’m going to ask anyways. Could you perhaps help me find a set of tires? Im looking for tires to fit a 13”x8” BBS wheel. The tire size is a 235/60/13. If you can find a performance tire that would be preferable.

Shouldn’t you be looking for a tyre expert then?

Good luck finding any 13” tire these days

Currently only 8pm on the east coast. However, TireRack doesn’t give any 13” tires in your preferred size. Heck, I don’t think any tire dealerships in the US carry that size except for racing slicks!

Given how many odd questions I’ve seen on Oppo lately, I’m just glad this one is vaguely car related.

I would contact Coker Tire (866-516-3215).
They specialize in oddball tires and may be able to help.
Or.. Google sez Hoosier sells a 235/60/13 tire for Dirt racers that could work.
I’m guessing that’s a show car and not a DD.

At that exact tyre size you’re looking at £200+ per tyre for a regular use ‘passenger summer’ tyre. If you want track day/performance tyres then you’ll need to reduce the sidewall to 45; there are some Kumho Ecsta V70’s (K11/K21/K60/K90) for £122.00 each.
That’s about it :/

I was able to find a Hoosier dirt track tire in that size.
Otherwise you’ll have to get different wheels with a more common tire size.

Going that small on the side wall will be problematic because that is going to make the tire too short. Tyre. The car also has a set of 15”x8” that we can put performance tires on.

Could you reduce the width? The Yokohama A021-R is available as 205/60R13 for £124ea

Thats way too narrow. The 235 on the rims now are stretched a bit actually.

Are you sure they’re 8’s? A 235 set on an 8 should look like the Kumho above, whereas a 205 will look like the Yoko. A 205 is 8.07 inches, so should just fit with a fairly square sidewall. I think maybe your wheels are wider.
